Free accommodation offer

We are offering free accommodation for the March 17 - April 11 TEFL course in Corinth. The offer is for free accommodation in a double room when two people enroll for the course together.  Qualifications of applicants:

- An accredited Bachelor's degree (in a core subject-based area) plus a certified ESL (CELTA or TEFL or TESOL) qualification - minimum 120 hours requirement for applicants.

Professional teaching responsibilities include:

The role:
- The usual working week will be Monday to Friday from 7:40 am to 4.30 pm. In some schools, foreign teachers may teach side by side with a Thai teacher. In other cases they will be solely responsible for their classes. This is up to the discretion of the school.
- 18 -22 periods taught per week.
- Class sizes range from 30-45 students per class
- The first semester runs from May 12th 2014 to October 10th 2014
- The second semester runs from November 3rd 2014 to February 27th 2015

Internship opportunity in Kerala for TEFL Greece graduates

Immediate vacancy in Agrinio

We have a vacancy for an English Teacher in Agrinio, Western Greece, to start on 1 February.

Job Description

This is a small school with three teachers, and an average of ten students per class. Our teacher will teach at all levels from beginners to proficiency, with students aged 8 – 15. Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 3 and 9pm, with each lesson lasting one hour. You will teach a total of 23 contact hours per week.

Whilst no lesson planning is necessary, model essays, some notes, interesting video clips and the occasional poem or short passage needs to be written or found before the school day commences. There is also some marking to be done on a daily basis.

The day is intensive and passes quickly as lessons are back-to-back. The children are generally polite, bright and eager to learn which makes being in the classroom a joy. The school Director gives support when needed and has a well-rehearsed system in place.

The salary is 800 euro per month net, plus health insurance, pension contributions and free accommodation.

Job Description

This position is with Greece’s leading publisher of ELT materials located in Athens, Greece. Hours of work are 9 - 5 Monday to Friday or may also be part-time if preferred. Duties include writing / editing /sub-editing of English Language Teaching materials for a publishing company in Athens, Greece.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a degree and speak English as their first language. Candidates with a degree in English Literature or similar will be preferred, but any degree will be considered. Experience of ELT materials creation is preferred but not required. For citizens of the UK, Ireland or any other EU country, visas are not required.

Remuneration

A competitive salary is offered depending on qualifications and experience. Furnished accommodation may be provided if required.
