Isthmia, Corinth Canal and Lake Vouliagmenis

The archaeological site and museum at Isthmia.

View from above Loutraki across the gulf to Corinth, and the Poseidonia end of the canal.

Loutraki beach behind the monastery. The Saronic Gulf is connected by the Canal to the Gulf of Corinth (R).

Lake Vouliagmenis in the distance and up close.

Fresh octopus for lunch then down to the archaeological site of Heraio.

The lighthouse on the end of the headland and waterfall on the way back to Loutraki.

The submersible road bridge at the Poseidonia end of the canal.
